
NEIL BURTON Neil Burton has been involved in payments solutions and offerings for over 20 years. Neil directs Earthport’s product, service and sales strategy. Earthport provides international payments and collections services on an on-demand, white labelled basis to banks and corporates. Earthport offers a cost effective and efficient alternative to traditional payments services including correspondent banking and credit card payments, covering open account trade payments, bulk payments such as pensions and dividends, and expatriate and foreign worker transfers. Neil is also a founder director of Money Transfers International Association. MTIA is a trade association focussing on remittances. Prior to joining Earthport in August 2008, Neil was Global Payments Solutions Executive in IBM’s Global Banking Solutions team. Prior to joining IBM in July 1995, Neil worked in the international banking and finance group at Logica; and prior to that, at Braid. Neil holds a BA in Physics from the University of Oxford, and an MBA from Kingston University.

NICK FORD Nick Ford is Head of Payments and Supply Chain for Capgemini Financial Services in the UK & Ireland. He has over 15 years experience in advising financial services clients on supply chain and payment strategies.
He joined Capgemini in 2006. Prior to this he worked for consulting firms Accenture and PwC, and on the client side, RBS.
Recent projects include: Payments Strategy review for major UK retail Bank Process re-engineering study for International Bank in Payments and Back Office Commercial/IT review for Retail arm of large UK Bank SEPA Strategy review and development for a number of large European Banks Numerous SEPA, PSD projects for Private Equity organisation, in UK and USA Led a review of the European Clearing House market and led due diligence projects in Payments arena
Nick is an executive Member of the European Management team for Capgemini Payment Services and is a Board Member of Money Transfer International, an international trade association dedicated to promoting the development and interests of the global remittances industry. He is also the UK Spokesperson for the World Payments Report which Capgemini produces in conjunction with the European Financial Management & Marketing Association (EFMA) and RBS.
 PIETER HEYN GLOBAL FINANCIAL SERVICES MANAGER. EMERGING MARKETS Pieter Heyn set up the UK Banking Business Unit in 1995, transferring to the Global Industry Group in June 2000.
He has worked in a number of roles in Sun's Global Finacial Services Group, including EMEA Retail banking, Global Banking Strategy and most recently, Emerging Markets Strategy and Sales with focus on Microfinance, Payment Systems, and Mobile Banking.
He works closely with Industry organisations such as SWIFT, European Bankers Association and is a member of the Board of Directors of the IFX Interactive Financial eXchange (sic) Forum.
In December 2008 he joined the board of directors of the newly formed MTI.

VANESSA MURDEN DIRECTOR, GLOBAL PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT TRAVELEX Vanessa Murden joined Travelex in 2001 following the acquisition of Thomas Cook Global and Financial Services and was recently appointed into the role of Director, Global Product Development for its Outsourcing division.
Previous roles within Travelex include Director Global Customer Operations, Director, Travellers Cheques, Head of Travelsolve Assistance, a medical repatriation company, and Head of Planning & Implementation responsible for all business related projects and customer related implementations for the Travellers Cheque, Prepaid Card, Latitude and Holiday Money businesses. Within Thomas Cook Vanessa spent 6 years in the Commercial Foreign Exchange business in mainly project management, corporate dealing and relationship management roles.
As an Outsourcing Executive Board member Vanessa has global product development responsibility for all Outsourcing products, including prepaid cards (consumer and corporate), Dynamic Currency Conversion, travel money (cash and travellers cheques) as well as the implementation and delivery of these products on a global basis. She is focused on delivering first class products to a global customer base while continuing to grow and develop the products within the Travelex outsourcing portfolio.
Vanessa holds a degree from Cambridge University and an MBA specialising in organisational change. She is married with two daughters.
